Directions

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb chicken breasts, cut into medium cubes
  • Red bell pepper, cut into medium cubes
  • yellow bell pepper, cut into medium cubes
  • Green bell pepper, cut into medium cubes
  • Large onion, cut into medium-sized cubes
  • 2 large garlic cloves mashed
  • Crushed hot red pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) olive oil
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) water
  • ⅓ cup (80 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) salt
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon (7.5 g) paprika
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) ground dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25 g) ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25 g) ground cumin

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius/360°F
  2. In a large bowl, put all the ingredients except chicken, onions, and colored pepper, and mix well
  3. Add the chicken, stir well, then leave the chicken in the refrigerator for an hour, or overnight.
  4. On skewers, put a cube of onion and a cube of green pepper, then two pieces of chicken, then a cube of red pepper and a cube of yellow pepper, then two pieces of chicken, then repeat these steps, until you finish the quantity.
