For the dough

For the syrup

Instructions
For the dough:
Combine the eggs with the water, the yeast and the oil.
Gradually incorporate the flour until you get smooth dough.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Cut the dough into very, very thin strips about 6 cm wide by 20 cm length
Fry each strip of dough by wrapping it around a fork as your dough is fried and using the second tool to wrap it around itself.
Repeat the same process with the remaining dough
For the syrup
Combine the ingredients for the syrup in a small saucepan
Let the syrup boil for about 10 to 15 minutes to obtain a thick syrup then pour it over the cooked pastry athan elkathi
Sprinkle sesame on top
Serve and enjoy your pastry dessert!
