Ingredients
  

  • 180 milliliters of water
  • 80 ml warm milk
  • 80 milliliters liquid cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup of soft butter
  • 4 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of instant yeast
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of chocolate chips
  • 5 tablespoons raisins dried grapes
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Put the raisins in the aromatic water and leave it aside until it softens
  • Put the flour in a bowl, add the butter, sugar and salt, mix the ingredients well, then add the instant yeast
  • Add the eggs one by one, then add the milk, water and finally the liquid cream
  • Knead the dough well (add a little more flour if necessary) form a ball and leave it until it doubles in size
  • Knead the dough until the air is removed, adding the raisins (after distillation) and the chocolate chips
  • Divide the dough into equal pieces and shape them into long and thin circles
  • Roll the dough cylinder in a spiral shape and repeat the process with the rest of the dough pieces
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/360°F
  • Let the dough rise again, about 10 to 15 minutes
  • Brush the cake with egg yolk
  • Put the cake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until it turns golden brown
  • Put a little light syrup on top of the brioche
  • Serve and enjoy your brioche!
